Information You Give Us
Bluewater Logitrade trades goods. Nothing is sold through this website, there is no account to open and no payment is taken here. The only personal information we hold is what you type into one of our three forms, and we hold it so that a person can answer you.
Who We Are
Bluewater Logitrade International Limited is registered in Hong Kong under Business Registration Number 74606757, at Office No. 05, 15th Floor, Boss Commercial Centre, 28 Ferry Street, Kowloon. We work alongside group companies in eight jurisdictions. For anything submitted through this website, the Hong Kong company is the party responsible for your information.
What We Collect
Only what a form asks for.
Quotation request — your name, company, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, country, the product line you are asking about, quantity, destination port and whatever you write in the message field.
Supplier registration — the same contact details, plus the goods you offer, your production capacity and any certifications you tell us about.
Careers — your name, email address, telephone number, the role and industry you are interested in, your preferred location, and the CV and cover note you upload.
Our server also keeps ordinary web logs: IP address, browser, the pages requested and the time. These are not linked to a person and are used to keep the site running.
Why We Hold It
To send you a costed offer against the grade and quantity you asked for. To assess a supplier and the goods being offered. To consider an application. And to keep a record of what was quoted to whom, which is ordinary commercial practice and sometimes a legal requirement.
We do not build profiles, we make no automated decisions about you, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a price.
Who Sees It
The trade desk handling your enquiry. Where the trade properly sits with another company in the group, that company as well.
If an order proceeds, the parties an order needs — the bank handling the instrument, the inspection agency, the freight forwarder and the customs broker — and only the detail that shipment requires.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we pass nothing to advertisers or data brokers.
How Long We Keep It
An enquiry that does not become an order: twenty-four months, so we can pick the conversation back up if you return.
An enquiry that becomes an order: seven years, which is what Hong Kong company and tax record-keeping requires.
A job application: twelve months, unless you ask us to remove it sooner.
Where It Is Held
On our hosting, and in the mailboxes of the people who handle enquiries. Because the group operates across eight jurisdictions, information you send may be read by colleagues outside Hong Kong. Wherever it is read, it is handled to the standard set out on this page.
Your Rights
Under the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, and ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it.
Write to us using the details at the bottom of this page. We answer data access requests within forty days.
Security
Access is limited to the people who need it to do the work. The site is served over an encrypted connection, and files uploaded through the careers form are not listed publicly or indexed. No system is perfect, and we will tell you promptly if something happens that affects your information.

Last updated 19 August 2026. We date this page whenever it changes, and anything that materially affects you is called out at the top of the section it sits in.
